  1. I was rooting for the Oilers to win but also for Paul! I was choked up hearing how he was still rooting for the Jets. Winnipeg still loves you Paul!!!!

  2. I'm not a Canucks fan, but I was a Luongo fan, and truly felt bad for him not able to win the Cup in Vancouver. Virtual Luongo on the EA Sports NHL series was good for me too. lol
As a Canadian living in Toronto though, he was also highly respected by the fans, and he became a beloved hockey legend when he helped bring home Canada's once in a lifetime Olympic Gold in the Sidney Crosby game. I remember chanting "Bobby Lu" with the rest of the Canadian hockey fans just as hard as we were cheering for "Sid The Kid"

As a Leafs fan, we also had Paul Maurice for his first NHL coaching gig, and even though he didn't get the Leafs to the playoffs, he still got 41 regular season wins in his first season, so I was disappointed when he got fired after his second season. I'm glad he finally got to hoist the Cup.

  3. lol who cares about Luongo? Wow he won a cup sitting on his ass doing nothing, He had a nice suit, good for him lol….definitely worth making a video 🙄

  4. Спасибо, Флорида Пантерс, вы сделали мне отличный подарок на мой День Рожденья выиграв Кубок Стэнли!!!

  5. I have to go with Marian Hossa, three straight finals appearances with three different teams. 2008 With the Penguins in a loss to the Red Wings, 2009 With the Wings in a loss to the Penguins and finally winning in 2010 with the Blackhawks. The look on his face when Toews passed him the cup was like a curse had been lifted.

  6. BOBBYYY LOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU – to be heard from the Yukon to the okanagan valley basically probably

  7. I’ve beeen following them since 06-07 season this is a dream come true. This is the happiest moment in my life!!!

  8. Favorite player I’ve ever seen lift the cup is Luc Robitaille. I cried when he lifted it for Detroit. They were the Kings nemesis in the late 90’s early 2000’s when they were in the western conference and it hurt to watch him lift it for them but I was happy he got to do it. Then I cried again in 2012 when he did it as a front office guy for the team he should’ve lifted it for, my beloved Kings.

  9. I’m a sens fan but I’m still happy for Florida, Becuase we know what it’s like not winning a SINGLE cup, it’s hard and all those playoff runs really disappointed us especially 2019 in the conference final, and Edmonton has won a lot of times. Yeah we waited 32 years ( including last night ) for Canada to win a cup but who cares and yes I’m from Canada as I was saying we have 7 teams so what if the USA has over 20 we can still win next year and the year after that

Edit: even Canada is happy like Vancouver, Calgary ( especially), Montreal, Winnipeg, and Ottawa, not Edmonton probably well maybe the fans but not the players

  10. Edmonton needed to by tougher in game seven and would have had a better chance at winning and if the ref would called a few penalties when McDavid was being mauled pretty much the whole series

  11. When Luongo hoisted the cup with Florida last night, it was almost like watching Bourque finally hoist a cup after several decades – also with a different team!

  12. Ray Bourque! After being legend in Boston, he finally moved to Colorado and BAM! That was a happy moment to see….

  13. One of my favorite moments is Lucky Luc Robitaille; not when he won as a player in Detroit, but rather when he won as an executive with the Kings. To me he will always be a King, regardless of any other team he may have played for, and because of that his moment(s) with the Kings are among my favorites.

  14. ugh… lou… Can't think of a worse person to hold that cup. In florida… Bobby Lou is a freakin bum, a bum. I wish people and even canucks fans would stop hyping him up.
Just another in a long line of overpaid, underachieving goalies.

  15. As a Canucks fan I've never felt so happy about seeing someone lift the cup than Luongo, brought tears to my eyes

  16. so happy to see edmonton fail cant stand their annoying fanbase fan base is full of idiots great to see their hopes up only for them to be crushed happy for the panthers and never thought id see the day where id be cheering so loud for roberto luongo hoisting the cup for the first time since im a hawks fan such a great win for the panthers

  17. I’m an Oilers fan but I’m happy for the Panthers. It’s their first cup and they would have been humiliated by a reverse sweep in ways that were not warranted. The Oilers are now a complete team and they’ll be back.

  18. Been a Panthers fan since their Cup run in ‘96, despite living in San Diego (I’m a Ducks fan too). Stuck through this team through hell and back through the years because they reminded me of myself: an outcast. I hate to say this but honestly, this might be better than when the Ducks won in ‘07, aside from seeing Selanne and Giguere hoist the Cup. Ducks had it easy, Cats had to fight for it. For Weiss, Booth, Bure, Salei, Zednik, and all of those that were greats stuck in crappy teams, this one’s for you too.

  19. Tkachuk is definitely my favorite player that I've seen lifting the cup in my lifetime, of course Lanny MacDonald is my all time favorite, but I think Tkachuk has earned this cup, as he played a great season and had an amazing run with the Panthers he's earned it.
It'd be even more special for him to bring the cup to Calgary and celebrate with the fan base that started his NHL career

  20. Watching Brian Leetch lift the Cup and win the Conn Smyth trophy in 1994 was very satisfying!! LGR!!!!

  21. It's impossible to pick "one" person. But the top 5 were in this group of "favorite" were there that night.

  22. Bill Lindsay was on the 1996 Panthers’ cup run, scoring a legendary memorable goal in the third round. He now does the radio color commentary. He was losing his absolute mind on the radio call.

  23. I believe the Edmonton Oilers are being featured on the next episode of accident suicide or murder. All we know is that it was death by asphyxiation
