Not much of a hockey fan, but as a fan of the (Texas) Rangers; I couldn't stand the thought of seeing any fan base go through the sadness of losing their finals twice in a row too. Hats off to the Panthers and glad we can enjoy the euphoria of being 1st time champs together!
Now with the Florida Panthers as the 22nd franchise to win the Stanley Cup, all that's left now are the Seattle Kraken, Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, Winnipeg Jets, Utah Hockey Club (formerly the Arizona Coyotes), Nashville Predators, San Jose Sharks, Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres, and Vancouver Canucks to win their first Cup. As a Hockey Fan (and of The Red Wings) it puts a smile on my face to see a team who never won the cup before finally wins for the 1st time in their franchise history, This was more than just a win this was about redemption for Florida especially after last year after making it to the finals and was very close to winning but this year they redeemed themselves. And All I can say to Florida is from A fan of a Stanley Cup Champion to another is Congratulations and Enjoy your Summer as Stanley Cup Champions. And Some day The Cup Will Return to Canada.
