Edmonton interested in future considerations?
Honestly Edmonton might have better luck trading him to get a franchise goalie and another defensive upgrade. Something like:
Edmonton sends: Draisaitl, Kulak & Skinner
NYI sends: Barzal, Romanov & Sorokin
Lou Lamoriello has no issue keeping that team deep in purgatory as well

We’re probably buying out Holl.
They’re only trading him for pieces to win right now. Something Detroit doesn’t have to offer.
On draft day we trade our #15 overall pick, next year’s 1st, Berggren, another roster player and another pick/prospect. We get Draisaitl with an extension in place. SJ takes Nurse or Campbell off of Edmonton’s as part of the future considerations for Walman & the 2nd.
