1. The absolute horrific audio levels are completely second rate abismal for a NHL playoff team do a proper sound check both on and off stage , however in light of the often condescending unsupportive ( seemingly player or league slanted questions often seemingly pay to get question presented without thought of players or teams best interest ). some questions should be level down from being on verge of being stupid and unproductive .

  2. Oilers didnt play well, but the rigged for a long time, watching since 1980. That will be the demise of the NHL

  3. 3rd year consecutive the guys got further and better each year . Getting to the final and game 7 is a great achievement . The experience should be the catalyst to encourage next oilers season of a strong cup win.

  4. Bettman 31 Canada ZERO. He has been preventing Canada from winning since 94. NOT a "conspiracy" . No one can convince me that in 31 years no Canadian team was "good enough to win" and more suspiciously no 2 Canadian teams were good enough to meet in the finals. The first thing he did was prevent Vancouver from winning in 94 (after he moved the NHL head office from Toronto to New York). He has been doing it ever since – allowing a team to periodically go to the finals and even game 7 but always prevents the Canadian team from winning. He does this with the "help" of the referees who are told to call extra penalties against Canada and less against the other team. In game 7 of this year within 3 minutes of the start a bogus call against the Oilers which gave Florida a goal. If the Oilers would have scored more there would have been more penalties called against them and fewer against Florida. People saying the Oilers were not "aggressive enough" are wrong because if they were the refs would have called even more penalties against them. A no win situation. He is all about helping the American teams thrive and will do everything to ensure the cup stays in America. He is salivating at the eventual move of McDavid, Draisaitl, Matthews and others to US teams because they will know they can never win a cup playing for a Canadian team. Now that he has promised the owner in Phoenix that they will have another team it should work out that at least one of those players I mentioned will end up signing there which would instantly help that Phoenix team. So corrupt. He hates the Canadian teams but loves their money and stretching out the series to game 7 brought him millions more. It is especially sad that the two most expensive season tickets are in Edmonton and Toronto but neither of which will ever win again. Edmonton is lucky that he took over in 94 instead of 84 because if he did the Oilers would never have won even 1 cup. "Captain America" – Gary Bettman.

  5. should be less about contract earnings and more about building the team to rightfully earn the rewards of more by every line every player .

  6. What a bold and unifying statement it would be if all UFA, and RFA players rallied to all remain with others talking a pay cut to meet cap space .

Restricted free agents: Dylan Holloway, Philip Broberg

Unrestricted free agents: Connor Brown, Sam Carrick, Warren Foegele, Sam Gagner, Adam Henrique, Mattias Janmark, Corey Perry, Vincent Desharnais, Troy Stecher, Calvin Pickard

  7. I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks will be appreciated.

  8. Congratulations on a wild ride of a year!!! What an achievement!! The whole city was and is behind you all!! Enjoy your break, we'll be cheering you on again next year…..

  9. A championship NHL TEAM is developed and grown collectively , NOT CONTRACTED OR TRADED INTO . This group has the focus, talent and ability to be that championship team, now is not the moment to slice and dissect, its a definitive growth potential for achieving greatness together building on this and previous years of development .

  10. The Florida Panthers are celebrating A STANLEY CUP. If the Oilers could have pulled it off they would have been celebrating THEE STANLEY CUP. Tough pill to swallow. I'm really proud of our team though.

  11. Long time panther fan you guys great organization i know from last year the pain i have great repect for edmonton and yours fans see you next year

  12. If I were them, I think I wouldn't come back to Edmonchuk, but take a lonnnggg vacation 😅….but I'm not them – lol…. awesome season guys!! Loved it!! ❤

  13. Oilers has done very well as a team under the current coaches. To be at the second bottom of the league to the top two teams is incredible. It could have gone either way. Disappointed but very proud of our Oilers.

  14. A proud fan here. Whatever happened you will always be the winner in my heart. See you again next year.

  15. Stupid questions to ask about Leons contract. Why ask Mcd about another players contract. They dont even ask Trudeau that many questions about the scandals

  16. Canada got to celebrate a Stanley cup thanks to FLORIDA!!! We are so proud of the champ and so happy deadmonton didn't win😂

  17. Been a fan since 1979 and this was the most entertaining playoffs since the early 80s playing the Islanders in the finals. Love this team. Everyone contributed. No matter what the result was these guys are champions

  18. I usually don't care about hockey, but this year really brought my attention because the Oilers did so so well and so close to win the cup.
No disappointment at all because we have to appreciate and thankful for their grate effort! The Oilers is Hero of Edmonton!!!

  19. Listening to some of the sports media, the recent debriefs from Edmonton players, interviews and commentary on " You Tube " regarding the NHL playoffs or NHL players in general. Media seems scared and controlled …. the NHL must control the narrative. This has made me seriously consider there is a conscious effort by the NHL to tightly control the narrative and all mainstream sports media has to " tiptoe" around " sensitive " issues. Nobody asks tough questions! The players don't like it when they get pitched a hardball …. like you never hear a question about the “ players influence on young viewers “ regarding the increasing use of " artificial stimulants " on the bench …a practice now very popular in the NHL. One example is the use of smelling salts to elicit a noxious reflex, causing the heart to beat faster, increasing alertness. Perhaps confirming “if” Connor McDavid and "others" were or are using opioid based pain killers and or cortisone shots in order to play "hurt" …just until "after the season" and then "if" plans are to continue after surgery? Substance abuse is another huge "taboo" topic for the media however a serious NHL player issue. You never hear those questions. The inability or unwillingness for anyone to dare question the NHL … to dare question disciplinary actions or the lack thereof …. sorry still hung up on the moments after Soucy accidently drilled a stooping McDavid with the cross check to the face, 😁 and then to watch Zach Hyman skate several strides, to elevate an intentionally targeted hit to the face of Nikita Zadorov. An obviously intentional cross check to the head of Zadorov that needed stitches to close up a cut on his face🤐…no suspension. The "missed" high stick from McDavid to Quinn 🤕…no penalty…..come on ….really 😇…you cannot tell me the NHL did not/ does not have a hand in the Grease Stain getting past the "Nucks ….and I'm a Jets fan ….it's time there was" freedom of the press " and an "independent " ***officiating and disciplinary*** branch for this league …especially due to the legalized gambling allowed on a NHL game . I believe the NHL has an " unchecked and unhealthy " strangle hold /control of the officiating and discipline and therefore the outcome of "series" . That is never dared questioned, investigated or reported on by the press ….just saying ….grow a set.
