That makes those picks way less valuable if 31 other GMs know his intentions aren’t to use those picks at all.
I mean… every single gm is aware this trade was just made. The 11th is apparently worth the 14th & 42nd picks… was anyone saying « no the 11th won’t get it done… wait WOW the 14th & the 42nd?!? That’s TWO picks! » It’s not like we fleeced SJ. 11th pick you might get lucky and have someone like Benson fall to you. 14 and you’re in the range of no sure things.
