The most important signing is Zito. It’s done. We have the best GM in the business I trust him to complete this roster for 24’-25’
Bob will come back, but my concern is a regress from a cup high. I trust him to stay the course. I like this new Bob, not the newly signed expensive Bob that was a problem.
I think giving Reinhart over 9 will be a mistake. Yeah he is great, but 9.5 great? Don't know. He didn't do that well in the playoffs when his pumber slot on PP was scouted by other teams. Not that keeping him is the worst thing in the world, but the cap will be really tight. It will be a bargain of the century if Lundell goes for less than Luostarinen for example.
Stenlund has to be one of the best 4th line centers in the league. Very talented defensively, and a valuable part of the PK unit as well. Wouldn't be surprised if a team overpays for him, but he probably knows that he fits PoMos system perfectly.

Personally I wouldn’t be surprised if OEL stayed, and Montour walks. OEL’s still getting payed like 8m a year from Vancouver – taking a discount to stay on a cup contender wouldnt be surprising, especially if from both vancouver and us he’a netting ~10m a year.
I am worried about Maurice refusing to play Bjornfot and Samoskevich though.
Love OEL but wouldn’t want him to be the full-time Monty replacement. Trade Knight and bring in Gostisbehere
Hope we can keep Montour. If not, we'll need to replace him with a right shot defenseman. Montour (1) and Skjei (3) are two of the top 3 dmen on the market for a reason: right handed shots.
Monty goes, and we only have one right-handed defenseman on the roster.
Ekblad or Montour – that is the question. And it is time to let Ek go. He got his cup, he is a weak spot objectively.
I'm over it now. In fact, my conscience made me feel like everything turned out perfect. The Oilers proved a lot, but if they walked away with the cup something inside me would've felt Florida didn't deserve that fate, an underdog team like the Oilers sort of lying in the weeds letting the opponents feel over confident. I believe teams have to get to or near the finals to learn the overwhelming feeling of possibly being the best in the league. I hope next yr is my Oilers' turn. Florida almost screwed up, but woke up in time to win it all at home in gm 7 in glorious fashion. Congratz to the Cats.👍🏆😺

I don't think OEL can fully replace Montour. Need a younger player for that. And a better 4th line player than Gadjovich.
I wish we could keep Stolarz, but he’s an UFA. Lots of teams will be calling his agent to sign him this offseason.
I will be surprised if the Panthers only lose Montor and Stolarz. I quit watching the Blues because their team imploded after they won the cup and 90% of the championship roster was gone in 1-2 years.

It's extremely important to remember that Montour is a right handed defenseman. OEL is good but he shoots left. Having a guy who has better control of the puck along the right boards, who can jump to the left on the power play is invaluable
Free agency this year isn’t that scary next year is a bit different tho
Reinhardt at 7.5mil. Lundell at 4 mil. Monty is gone. Lomberg def coming back. Kulikov I think will be back. I think Tarasenko’s home next to the arena might push him to come back for a very cap/team friendly deal.
Well this sure will be interesting but the Swaggy deal is looking like 6 X 8 or 8.5 and Bill Zito is looking to TRADE Ekblad to try and open up cap space. Looks like Monty is staying and Ekblad is possibly out
I am really excited to see what Zito can do this offseason. I wonder if Montour would take a "Forsling-esque" discount? I agree in allowing Samo and/or Sourdif a chance to make the roster. Samo was leading scorer on Charlotte in AHL.
We cannot forget Zito's ability to find guys on the waiver wirer or other teams' scrap heaps.

Love that lineup, I REALLY want to see Bjornfot play, the last several games he played he looked like Forsling with quick skating and solid defense. Also excited for Samokevich!
