The Phoenix Firebirds were the AAA baseball team that played in the Valley before the arrival of the Diamondbacks. But I like the name and logos. But if the bird gets too hot, would it melt the ice? 🤣

This question isn’t asked in Seattle about their Sonics! Sure, the Sonics had a longer and more successful history in Seattle, than the Coyotes did in AZ. One title, a couple finals appearances, multiple playoffs. But, when the NBA comes back to Seattle, they will be the Sonics!
You have at least ten years to contemplate this.
Personally, with all of the bad juju over the years and different owners.. and dealing with the local cities.. my gut tells me the NHL is done in the desert much like MLB and Montreal. The Yotes had great plans here.. but the local polticians never showed them one drop of love. We need to remember.. the NHL owned the team for about 4 years. I'm not sure that the NHL was using Alex to just gracefully exit the valley.
