@Flyers de Philadelphie

[Anthony Di Marco] PHI continue d’explorer les options pour entrer dans le top 10 (avec chaque équipe), mais les prix restent trop élevés. De plus, ils envisagent toujours de revenir si cela a du sens.

I can’t imagine anyone giving up a top 10 or top 5 pick without requiring an arm, a leg and a kidney as compensation. We’ll find out soon enough 👀

That is what Danny should be doing. Much ado about nothing.

There will be a good player there at 12. I think they might like the pick at 32 more than 12.

Just stay at 12 please, I don’t love the idea of moving back.

It’s good to have at least the perception of keeping all options open. Don’t want any leverage against you if you’re moving.

I feel like this draft past the top 6 are all similar for awhile so if we can’t get anyone we want at 12 that is a worldie I mean who say they can’t turn it into 2 picks in the first.

Cue Charlie O’Connor “top 10 picks never get traded” on repeat

  7. Patient_Jicama_4217

This makes it seem like they are trading up just for the sake of trading up.. Doesn’t make much sense to me if they don’t have a target in mind

  8. Patient_Jicama_4217

Don’t see them doing a trade up honestly

I’m kind of cool with whatever

Initially I thought that potential Columbus trade seemed like a lot, but it does seem to be fair value, and if that gets them « their guy » I l’d love to get 4th overall

Should get a solid player at 12 even if they don’t move up

If Catton or Helenius isn’t there at 12, I’d be fine with moving back and taking a swing at some of the projects in this class.

  11. Danny B is keeping things so fun rn

if I hear « we have a trade » before #12 I’m going to probably get anxious each time

  12. all_these_moneys

Danny has said repeatedly that we need « more high end talent » but refuses to pull the trigger to grab someone of that caliber higher up. I trust his decisions but it does seem conflicting.

I have a feeling every beat reporter in every city is reporting the same headline about their team right now

As long as we stay away from Lindstrom (Flyers + players with injury histories = No bueno) and don’t trade down, I’m fine with any number of players at #12. No sense to trade up, unless swinging for the fences and grabbing Demidov at #4. Just my opinion, obviously.
