Okay let's get real people do people need to go back to 1993 the last time a Canadian team won the Stanley Cup, what do you think is different? Gary Bettman came in halfway through season of 1993 there was no way he can stop Montreal from winning the cup it would look way too obvious. So he let them win the Cup in 1993 but he said I will never let it happen again as long as I am commissioner and he was 100% right that never happened again, when are people going to wake up and open up their eyes it is 100% fixed it's not rocket science Batman has been playing games for 30 something years Canadian teams get in the final but they lose every single time for 30 years, so Edmonton annihilates them three games in a row to make a game 7 so the NHL makes a lot of money on this with the attention of Florida winning I already knew last year they were going to win this year because Gary Bettman wanted his new franchise team to win so more people will go to the games and make more money for the NHL, so I knew without a doubt Florida was winning this year can you guess what American team is going to win next year? Hockey has gone political it's all about making money about making profits it's not even about the game anymore Gary Bettman has ruined the game of hockey for money. Guaranteed Canadian teams are not going to win the cup until Gary Bettman retires 100 guaranteed when are people going to open up their eyes!!!!!

Even though the Oilers lost the series they showed a great deal of determination and moxie to come back and tie the series. Panthers really had a meltdown after game three and could have been embarrassed to the core, but they were able to regain the momentum and close it out. Game seven was darn close though!

I called a team from the EAst winning it all after the caps got swept. I thought the rangers were going, so when the panthers did it against them, i called the panthers, but i thought the panther/oiler series would of been more back and forth. Not a 3 games sweep for each team. They almost had the miraculous come back, but that is why its so tough to win 4 straight. They looked off and a bit tired. who knows. Give Florida a break, they lost last year in the final and came back this year to win it. That is amazing, and im happy for Paul Maurice!

Definitely can't lie though, this was a great series for both teams. Congrats to the Panthers for winning. It was quite the shame for me not to see Connor and Stuart hold that cup though. I believe it was earlier this year when the Oilers had beaten their team record for most games won in a row though, which is something to be very proud of.
Listen up I have been a bruins fan for life lived the late 60’s into playing hockey watching the bruins on tv 38 as a kid however this changed in 1979-80. 99 came into the league. This changed how I felt about hockey it was something to see hockey played at such a high skating high offensive level it hooked me and I fell in love with them. I rooted except when they played Boston yes I hate Peter klima lol but overall I’ve followed and rooted secretly but when 29 and 97 got drafted back to back I was back in and this year I went to see the oilers bc I had gone to see Wayne and company several times but needed to see Conner in person along with Leon and yup impressed bc once again a great organization has reached a new level and I’ll remind folks it took Wayne and co a few years to get there 1983 loss to the islanders u could see Wayne dejected and he learned than he oiler explosion happened and it led to the kings getting better the rangers under messier and the blues and so many other teams. Like the bruins explosion in the early 70’s the oilers showed the world hockey isn’t robotic now let’s see them fly thanks you Connor for showing the hockey world how good u can be
