Definitely want to be more in tune with next year’s class, seeing as it’s supposed to be stronger. Love that they drafted 3 centers, clearly their biggest weakness right now. Maybe Berglund and Heikki become viable 3rd line le startable players. Excited for Jett’s speed as a weapon!

I was disappointed they passed on Buium, but appreciated how active and creative Briere and co tried to be even if their attempts at moving up didn’t pan out. Honestly, it leaves me more excited for next year’s draft and what potential there might be with all our picks.

Potentially moving more of the current roster at the trade deadline for 1st round picks would be a good idea considering 2025 is supposed to be more stacked.

  3. Pretty boring and fairly disappointing draft but we have no idea how it actually will turn out and we are clearly going all in on 2025 draft (and utilizing those picks in upcoming big moves).

Flyers now have 8 picks in first 3 rounds including 3 1sts. Will no doubt make multiple more asset attaining trades in next year.

That leaves a crazy amount of draft capital to make some moves. Lets see what Briere can pull off in next year …

Bros, the team is in rebuild. We want to go into this season without the thought of winning. We have 6 picks in two rounds in deepest draft in 20 years. I’m absolutely excited to watch MM in his first year transition, while building stock in the picks. 3 first rounds? Awesome!

Just enjoy the next year watching Michkov play and learn. We will be fine. To do this right, we need to suffer a couple seasons.

I can’t provide any worthy analysis, not on name talent alone Jett Luchanko is a stud. What a cool name. And Noah Powell is just the most Bottom 6 American grinder type name I’ve ever heard. I know nothing about him but I would be $10 that’s his profile

It’s underwhelming, honestly. I think you could have done better at the top. Don’t mind Gill or the guys in the middle/late, mainly from the backing of the legitimate scouting guys who do media.

You’re betting a lot on next years draft being deep and having a beat on scouting it well. I’m still hopeful in that regard and don’t think it’s a bad bet.

Ultimately I’ll still be following the next years for the incoming draftees with optimism like always. Hope Luchanko breaks out.

  7. Surprised they didn’t grab a late round goalie again. They seemed to make that a organizational philosophy for awhile now. Always keep a long term project tucked away for a few years cause ya never know.

I am 100% good with this draft as long as we aren’t resigning TK. They punted the rebuild another season, which eats up time TK’s prime

All of you armchair scouts can get fucked. I have faith in Danny
