Positive update from Chris Johnston and Pierre LeBrun. About 27 hours out from free agency, this is one of the more positive updates we’ve heard in a while. Bultman also had a seemingly positive blurb in his article tonight on Kane and Yzerman’s interest.

Stamkos-Compher-Kane could be a real interesting 2nd line. Would have to be some cheap contracts. But could see it.
$15 of the $32 to Raymond and Mo, $5 for Kaner, $12 for everybody else seems a little tight but we’ll make it work.
I’m nervous to see Yzerman sign a high priced free agent, but we’re likely getting at least another $5M dman or winger… the idea is that they are better than Chiarot/Copp.
