Good pick. Solid choice.
They traded back, couldn't end up trading 14oa any more than 11, and in the process missed out on two top pair defensemen in Buium and Dickenson. Oh boy.
UPL should be happy there is another Finn coming to Buffalo. If Skinner does get bought out, could he be this year's Zach Benson?
We have such a deep prospect pool that even tho we couldn’t trade the pick (and Kevyn tried to) we can easily trade Savoie, Rosen, ostlund, Kulich etc and still get an amazing return while STILL having some good prospects In Rochester… be happy with what we have, this kid is a beast and we are in need of a center anyway… there’s also FA we will be fine

Love that he was rated higher, and his name came up for snagging him at 11, but he was still available at 14. Here's hoping Mike Grier got a good one at 11.
One writer wrote Helenius was a menace on the forecheck and relishes the opportunity to check an opponent. Q: Why haven't we drafted players like this way before which this team desperately lacks ?
