I think leafs will give Tanev a 5.5m or 6m for maybe 5 or 8 years hope not 8 . But 5 I am cool with.

The best part about "Leafs Nation" is how short their collective memories appear to be. First, a couple of days ago I see a post about the idea of bringing Kadri back to Toronto. Everyone apparently having forgotten that he TWICE single handedly sabotaged the Leaf's playoff hopes by taking stupid penalties or being suspended, which is why they shipped him out of town to begin with. Apparently he either matured (nice to see finally at age 30) or Colorado told him that if he wanted to play, he had to keep his nose clean.
And here we are now everyone is talking about adding two defensemen, particularly if they happen to shoot left handed. Has everyone forgotten that in this year's playoff exit, they scored 2 goals or less in 6 of the 7 games???
