  1. leafs are making puzzling moves..I personally had no interest in a 34 year old injury prone defenceman…and Im seeing rumours they may be walking away from Liljegren..the guy hasnt even played 300 games yet..wth?
My family members are Habs fans…and make fun of me whenever they can…I think they just got more ammo

  2. Tanev won't even be in the league by 2028…this is a garbage move by a garbage organization.

    Trade Marner
    Fire Shanahan 🔥

  3. Take a big swing and trade for Aaron ekblad, send florida rielly Robertson and a prospect or pick if need be

  4. It ain't looking good, bruv. At least a 5 year deal, and a trip to Robidas island on the back end.

  5. UTAH has room is active , BUF has room and will be looking plus TBL now , this is going to go nuts for top UFA forwards!

  6. Heh! Leaf fans, get off the hopium! If you think Old Man Tavev is the answer to your many problems well keep dreaming. Think about it! He's just tired of all the travel and wants to finish his career in his home town. You'll be over paying and Treliving is pulling the wool over your eyes. Wake up!!!!!

  7. The best part about "Leafs Nation" is how short their collective memories appear to be. First, a couple of days ago I see a post about the idea of bringing Kadri back to Toronto. Everyone apparently having forgotten that he TWICE single handedly sabotaged the Leaf's playoff hopes by taking stupid penalties or being suspended, which is why they shipped him out of town to begin with. Apparently he either matured (nice to see finally at age 30) or Colorado told him that if he wanted to play, he had to keep his nose clean.

And here we are now everyone is talking about adding two defensemen, particularly if they happen to shoot left handed. Has everyone forgotten that in this year's playoff exit, they scored 2 goals or less in 6 of the 7 games???

  8. Utah is going for it and they started with a proven defensive defenceman under contract. If Utah took a swing on Stamkos, kane, Guentzel and Pesce of any other ufa defenceman look out it's gonna be a ride

  9. Toronto doing Toronto things. ie. Dumb things. No shocker here. ~35 year old come season start. What is it with Toronto always going after geriatric players, in an attempt to make them impact players?

  10. The reason they HAVE to do this such bs dregs. Leafs shouldn't do this (money wise) especially tanev is the n of t solution to this teams problem. Omg Leafs are in on everything wow such reporting! 🙄

  11. You guys are nuts, its the leafs, 11.5M for 7 years with a NMC, they dont need a full lineup Nick Robertson will save em.
