I recall going to the civic arena for the shooting of the in-game hockey action for this movie. We got a free drink and a hot dog. As a 7 year old this was a dream. Not even sure I realized it wasn’t a real game. I do remember seeing cardboard cutouts in some seats. That didn’t seem to faze me at all

Watch Pittsburgh dad when the pens were in one of the more recent cup runs. He made his own Stanley cup. « Jean Claude Van Damme is going on the cup! He saved the Civic arena from being blown up, Did Wayne Gretzky ever do that?
