Molson pulled the trigger at the right time, he couldn’t fumble that rebuild. Gorton was a fantastic hire and all that unfolded since then too.

It feels good to finally have full confidence in the leadership and decision making of our management.
I’ve been a fan for 20+ years and can’t think of a moment I felt more at peace with our top brass.

With GMMB, i lost faith in management when we traded Subban and didn’t give another year to Markov the year after.
Finally with Hughes and Gorton, we can trust management to do the right thing. They know a hell of a lot more about hockey than any of us. Whatever they do just seems to improve the team. I can’t say I’ve ever felt as confident about management. We can just relax and watch this team get better and better. Plus we get to enjoy a good show during the rebuild with exciting young players. Can’t ask for more. This feels like a new golden age for the Canadiens.
Mercifully, the years of the Montreal Canadiens being bottom feeders of the league are coming to an end.
