@Oilers d'Edmonton

1. As a Bolts fan, I don't like Guentzel trade. I wanted us to go after a defenseman like Zadorov. Hope we don't pay Guentzel more than 7.5 for 6 years. Anything above that is a loss for us.

  2. Personally sad to see Soup go, but you don't win the Cup by icing the most nice-guy roster possible. Hope he succeeds wherever he goes next

  3. That's a breath of fresh air for Edmonton, clearing up extra weight. And it's a huge plus to secure Calvin Pickard, who is a loved character and one of the heroes of the season. That said, Campbell is indeed an awesome guy and has shown promise in net. I'm sure everybody is rooting for him to find a spot and excel there.

  4. All the best for Soup, it obviously didn't work out in Edmonton and the situation was bad for both of them. I hope he gets a chance to bounce back.

  5. First and last years on the contract savings are pretty good. Big bets in hyman and Campbell one pays off the other doesn't. Call it a break even to me

  6. Calgary doesn't have a goaltender. Maybe Soup could bounce back there. Then again Calgary could be dead last this coming season.

  7. lol they be doing buyouts just to overpay their top two players. Doubt they’ll be adding depth.

  8. Oilers HAVE to get rid of Nurse. He is completly useless, grossly overpaid useless. I've seen driftwood that did more.

  9. Kinda feel bad for Soup. We had terrible defense during his tenure as an oilers…but when we started getting good D we didnt even try

  10. I have no ill will against Campbell. I do wish the guy a good remainder to his career. I wish it did work in Edmonton, because he does seem like such a grounded, cool person.

    Certainly no hard feelings from me. I will pull for the guy wherever he ends up. Best wish, Jack. Wish it had turned out differently. 🍻

  11. I know if wouldn’t be popular but if the oilers want to make some moves they need to trade Nurse. It’s a terrible contract for the quality of the player. Reminds me of the Lukic 7 x 6. Even if the Oilers retained 25% would be a huge win but who would take him even at that?m
