Fleeced… calm down Pillzy. For a year of Ullmark it’s pricy. Guys you did how many days on the draft? You know that at 25 it will be hell of a player. Next year, if Ullmark doesn’t sign, he is out and Forsberg too. We are at square. Be humble. There is no fleece yet.

I think, from Boston's point of view, anything at all they could get back for a goalie who was leaving in a season anyway was…the best they were gonna get. A low 1st round pick and a couple mil freed up in cap space is better than nothing. I know Korpisaalo gets bashed constantly, but let's be frank–aside from a brief stint in LA he's played on mediocre to bad teams for his entire career. He isn't nearly as bad, ability-wise, as his numbers might suggest. The Bruins may re-deal him soon anyway as part of more trades they'll make this offseason. And they may relegate him to the minors if not, anyway, seeing as they signed Bussi, their top goaltending prospect. I don't know, I wasn't expecting much at all in return for Ullmark, so the little bit they got will be likely be used as pieces in more meaningful trades made in the next few weeks. I also hope Ullmark has a good stint in Ottawa. He's a good goalie and a standup guy.

Love the trade but they didn't fleece the Bruins at all. Ullmark could walk away as a free agent after next season. If he had come with an extension the price would have been higher and likely not taken Korpi.
Was it a steal? Time will tell, because our track record with goalies isn't too good. The one thing I'm not a fan of is losing that first round pick. Remembre, we owe one to Vegas – whenever that gets taken away. Other analysts think thius is a Boston win because of that pick.
Remember the last few "star" goalies we traded for? We have struck mud so often, yet the hype was the same. The price was a bit high, but this goalie is worth it. Let's talk 2 -3 months into the season and see how many games he's stolen, because that's how esceptional goalies are rated in my books.

Ullmark is a great goalie! BUT! remember the Bruins had healthy defense to help their goalies. Not trying to be a Debbie downer at all, I'm stoked for the Sens and it's fans and unaware of the sens defensive atm
