Does anyone know why he isn’t attending the Jets’ camp? Or can anyone other than RMNB confirm this rumor?

I thought we might deal the 17th pick for him at the draft, I thought someone would trade their 1st anyway.

I will be fascinated to see where he goes now. I would have for sure thought something would happen at the draft, before/during the 1st round. Sounds like a few offers were on the table but circumstances didn’t fall the right way.
Presumably a lot of teams should be offering a decent amount for a player in this situation, if they know that he’s willing to sign after the trade. So if the Caps are going after him it’s probably going to cost us someone we don’t expect to be on the trade block.
Can’t wait to see how it all shakes out though.
