Pat Kane is about to sign a 1 year deal in Detroit but that doesn’t mean he didn’t ask more from the Sabres. The other 2 rumors would line up with Adams comment about multiple trades falling apart.
Whether you like Peters / Rivet’s opinions they do have connections in the league so it’s not useless.
To some extent, I don’t really understand either player’s decision. They can make more money here than elsewhere, and it’s not like we are a basement team.
Especially Necas, he could parlay into a huge contract after one big year with us. Oh well.
I don’t trust their « sources » but at this point something is really wrong or Kevyn Adams is in way over his head

Trade for Ehlers and Iafallo. They would have 1 year to convince Ehlers to resign. If they make the playoffs and even if he bolts, that would greatly help the reputation of the franchise.

Why would any player want to come here? High taxes and team that most likely isn’t getting into the playoffs again. Players only come here if it’s a last resort

The Buffalo Sabres vs. the world. It’s got to come from within. I think a healthy season from Quinn makes a huge difference but Cozens, Power, Tage- we need more from them. If we start making the playoffs this perception will eventually change.
