The inspiration for my flair. I truly believe this was a huge moment in setting the direction of the team toward winning the cup. Coming off what was then the worst season in modern NHL history, we traded Duchene, and squeaked into a playoff spot by winning the last game of the season. We could have just called that the win and then rolled over and gotten swept by the Preds, but taking them to game six established that this team was here to compete. Guts all over the place babyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
