I’ll be honest, I was rooting for him to come back. But if he still wanted over 5 million after it taking half of the regular season for him to find any footing, then you just can’t do it. That would have been a bad contract.

Good character guy. Never loved his play… only grew to like him. Really no big deal if it’s not a favourable dollar
I said it this afternoon, I’m not against bringing him back but if he wants over 5 mil I’ll fully happy to say goodbye. Thanks for the memories Tyler, we’ll always have the birthday hatty.

For the level of production he provided we can get that under 5 I’m sure
I honestly think we can get some similar production out of McMann if given the chance to play.

5 million is too steep but I wish him well none the less

I knew this would happen. If it didn’t the leafs would have been DUMB. This guy is going to sign for 6-7m per season. The leafs cannot afford that.
