Hey guys – Oilers fan here from Edmonton. I won't try to talk you out of 'ultimate choke' here, cause I can't. But the issue is Edmonton. If Edmonton's roster was in Carolina, Dallas, L.A., Tampa Bay, New York – you would have been OVER THE MOON to be up 3 to 0 on that POWERHOUSE. Folks, the Oilers have the TWO BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD on their team, in their primes. How would you feel if the Heat went up 3 to 0 on the Kareem/Magic Lakers, or the Jordan/Pippen Bulls. That's what the Oilers are. Problem is – they are in CANADA – Very few Americans watch us on a regular basis. You see ONE or TWO games a year, when Edmonton is playing you, and you win – well we're a shitty team from Canada anyway. OIlers are a much better team than American teams/networks give them credit for. They are playing now like they were when they won SIXTEEN games in a row, which started shortly after our visit to your beautiful area back in November.

Yeah it's to bad American sports stations dont show more Canadian games for the real hockey fans that live down there In Edmonton they have a sold out arena That holds over 18 thousand when the team is playing in Florida and another 10 thousand outside the building People honking and screaming all over town Weve only have one point 2 million people So it's not a huge city But I think over half the city are loyal fans The only teams that are bigger and more powerful and wealthy than Edm are the NY rangers the Toronto Maple leafs and the Montreal Canadiens Its a big deal up here But Americans never really hear about it May the best team win 😊

I'm not a hockey fan but I've been a sports fan all my life. I grew up watching Larry Bird, John Elway, and Dale Murphy play. We are seeing a Panthers team that not only has lost belief, an Oilers team that are playing for their entire lives, and a complete choke job happening in front of our eyes. Feel horrible for Panthers fans and feel ecstatic for the city of Edmonton. This is an incredible example of what momentum looks like and how teams respond to it.

its funny how homers always think their team is choking rather than the other team actually raised their level. Edmonton played well enough to win 2 of the first 3 games… they just couldn't score. The top 5 players of the Oilers are superior to the top 5 of Panthers. They're faster, equal depth … better high end talent. The 3 – 0 start was the bigger surprise.

Big O, I don’t agree that the offsides call didn’t matter!!! That play changed the momentum and I still haven’t see a video that clearly shows the offsides. No one knows how the game would have ended if that goal counts. Yes the Panthers haven’t looked good, but it only takes 1 PLAY to change everything. There is only 1 video that could possibly show the truth and neither the NHL or ESPN has shown it. That video is on the near side on the blue line and the only video from that angle stops before the play is completed. Since you have media contacts, why don’t you get that video for the world to see. That call could have cost the Panthers the Cup!!!

Edmontonians are actually very nice people.
To be fair the only game that Florida outplayed Edm was most of game 2. Game one Edm doubled their shots and almost tripled them in dangerous chances but Bob stood on his head. He did the same in game 2 and 40 minutes of game 3. Since then they haven't even had a lead. Their PP may as well decline the power play because edmonton has more shorties then they do power play goals. Its not that shocking that Edm came back.
The panthers could've won 1 – 2 cups in last 3 years. Not only the players are choking, maurice haven't made any adjustments since game 4 and he is being outcoached by an ahl coach.
