[Johnston] Lorsque le contrat d’agent libre de Brett Pesce sera finalisé avec les NJDevils, il devrait durer six ans avec un AAV de l’ordre de 5,5 millions de dollars.

Great AAV. Term is whatever, give me 3-4 years of shutdown D

I don’t mind that at all. Maybe a little long, but it’s free agency, what are you gonna do.

  3. Don’t see a real issue with this. I like it

If this is true, that’s only a $1.1 mil increase in cap hit from Marino for the next 3 years which is not bad.

So he’ll only be 35 when the term ends, so he should still be very effective by then (and by then, Silayev should be ready to dominate as the main shut down guy). Imagine 3 or 4 years from now, Silayev and Pesce as the shut down pair? Would be like Burns/Slavin, possibly better.

Really like this! Turn me up on a Monday boys

1-2 years too long, but cap is going up, he’s only 29 and it’s just over a 1mil increase from Marinos cap hit. Good deal

  8. Good stuff. Came in a little lower than I was expecting.

Really like this deal. Good AAV some more spending room on a top 6 winger (hopefully these Marchessault rumors are true) and some more depth.

Oh and Dillon as well who was another guy I wanted

Looks good to me! Cap hit good, term is what you would expect signing a player at this point in their career and with a reasonable AAV.
