Bring our French Toast back to the breakfast table, Doug. He will sign long term for a hometown deal I think. I miss DP57

    He’s 36. I’m all for reuniting wouldn’t do more than a 3×4

This makes no sense for where STL is at in their retool. If it’s not a player that’s going to be here in ~3 years when the window re-opens, then it doesn’t make sense.

Not concerned about logic on this one… I just want that feisty French Canadian back in STL!

McKenzie says he has a two year deal (2×4) on the table from the Sens.

  6. 2yrsx$4m to Ottawa. I’m glad he’s not back with St Louis at that contract.

Doug should be on the phone with his agent right now.

Happy for Perron that he’s still getting $4 million/year at his age. I wanted Perron back to help our power play, but $4/year is just too steep. Who knows, though. Maybe Ottawa will collapse and we can trade for him middle of next season if we still have a need for a power play sniper.

  9. I too miss DP57, Doug. Do your big dick thing again

If anyone listened to Perron on the last minute Blues podcast you could tell he felt extremely insulted by Armstrongs lack of contact last time he left. Less than zero chance he signs here.
