    Not only is he a great captain but he is a legitimate top line center and underrated in the league.

    From last year to this year is a massive step forward.

    Suzuki is the perfect guy to bring the next generation of stars into the league.

    In my lifetime we have never had reinforcements properly develop as a core group hit their prime. This is the first time it actually looks like it’s lining up.

    Even better is that the kids coming up that look to have high end upside like, slaf, demidov, hutson, reinbacher, mailloux, xhekaj, hage and roy aren’t the only ones. There is an army of prospects behind them in beck, kapanen, heineman, farrell, tuch, erickson, davidson, rohror, mesar, koivu xhekaj, barron, struble, engstrom, Bogdan.

    The team has crazy depth and now has 2 high end offensive talents to lead the pool.

    On est tellement chanceux d’avoir Suzuki comme capitaine, et on est encore plus chanceux que lui et Caufield aient eu la chance de se rendre en final de la coupe et de côtoyer Price et Weber. Cette expérience là va être non négligeable quand ils vont faire les séries.

    Will we be able to watch the Canadiens development camp? I remember watching something similar a few years back when Arber Xhekaj was doing tryouts and the comments hated him cause they thought he was just a goon, look where he is now.

    I’d love to see which players stand out this year.

    For Suzuki to come here during this summer break means something. He’s showing a lot of responsibility and ownership as a Captain and as a member of this team. I can see Cole and Slaf are training individually. While Zukes is back after June/a month to welcome prospects and get acclimated with the newbies.
