If Detroit were drafting really well in Day 2 and were busting at the seams with great prospects then yeah this all makes sense.

I’m fine with what Yzerman is doing. Nashville was in a much better position at the start of today, before they even signed anybody. They have a Norris winner, Vezina candidate, and good overall depth. We have none of that. They’re in a better better spot and should be going all-in. With the Wings, I don’t think we’re quite there to be making huge moves.
