If Michkov is collecting his B level bonuses, we fans are gonna have a hell of a good time.

Very brief explanation of how this works:

-1M a year in potential type A bonuses, very likely he ends up earning between 500k-1 million of these right away and will earn the full million almost guaranteed by the last year of his ELC

-2.5M a year in potential type B bonuses, these are all or nothing and it is *extremely* unlikely he earns these as a rookie, with what I’d call a pretty outside shot at them in his 2nd and 3rd years

Basically, his total value against the cap will be between 1.45-1.95 AAV his first year and most likely 1.95 AAV in his last year, with a slim chance of that ending up being 4.45 AAV

And I will be rooting for him to get all the $10.5M

Thank you for the explanation! I was confused when I saw the contract breakdown on Twitter because I saw the 10.5 million but he’s counting less than a million against the cap so I was like how is he getting 10.5

How much did bedard or mcD earn in their rookie years . Can’t be unrealistic
