Vladdys brother Max there, that’s kinda neat

What do the stars beside certain names mean?

No Byfuglien or McGroarty. Very interesting.

Alex Worthington, who put up some pretty bad numbers in limited experience with the Oil Kings, is training to be a minister at Briercrest, and is a goalie on their team. I just thought that was an interesting little tidbit. I guess Jesus saves, and so does Alex, occasionally.

Edit: Ah fuck, I clicked on his profile on the briercrest website and now google thinks I’m religious and keeps showing me ads for that place and other propaganda.

It’s just a damn shame that Rutger wants a spot handed to him instead of earning it. 🤬

Shouldn’t be a big problem if he’s as good as he thinks he is…

Hunter Mayo attended the LA Kings camp last year and returned to Red Deer to put up respectable numbers for an overage 6’1 RHD. Maybe he can get himself an ECHL or AHL contract.

Really curious to see how Luke Mistelbacher and Hunter Mayo do. Mistelbacher put up good numbers and I thought he would get drafted this year. A couple of rankings had him in the top 100. Mayo seems like he could easily be a good RD given time to develop (plus I would 100% buy a jersey just to have the name MAYO on the back).

Curious to see if anyone gets contracts out of this!

I really hope Chaz Lucius can stay healthy all season. With McG showing his true colours, Lucius can move up the depth chart.
