Can someone post the content or a non-Twitter link so I can read it?

Well this is telling… no thank you to his teammates or the franchise in any way.

  3. dudewithchronicpain

Classy dude. Wish him all the best (sans cup this year)

  6. LGRW_Sparty88

Wishing the best for Jake, he was a fun player to root for.

  7. This guy’s about to griddy so hard on us, isn’t he?

  8. AltruisticBuffalo0

No mention of the org / teammates may be something. Maybe not.

  9. ClumpOfCats

Bittersweet, but that’s the business. One of the easiest guys in the league to root for, fingers crossed he can stay healthy

I know a lot of you are just coping, but the change in sentiment around here since the trade has been wild. Guy scored multiple clutch goals and threw his body in the line of fire to block shots more than anyone.

Now he was « Akschually bad » and had « character issues »

We loved you, man. Wish you well whatever is going on.

I still can’t wrap my head around how we fleeced ourselves on a trade

  13. non_target_eh

Class act, dumped by the organization like a bag of trash (with a $100 bill in it [2nd round pick]).

  14. lilPavs13

we won’t make the playoffs with our D, we just lost our one only other semi decent D

  15. Whatever happened to that second that we gave up? Didn’t we have some people agree that after the draft was over, we could evaluate whether the « future considerations » ever led to anything? Can we conclusively agree that the answer was no, and that the trade was a bad one?

  16. Affectionate-Scar-63

He doesn’t say a single word about any of the players, front office, or coaching staff. I feel like that’s purposeful.

  17. Wrath_Of_Aguirre

As much as I don’t care for SJS, I just want this man to succeed, be healthy, and play well. I really would have liked to see him stay.

  18. fatalmedia

He doesn’t mention the organization, which is telling.

But at the same time, could be sour grapes re: being traded vs anything tangible.

Either way, this will stoke the flames further re: Wings fans who were not a fan of this trade 🍿

Sounds pretty classy this might be a more amicable situation than we are giving credit for
