Once again the league crams 3 Islanders/Rangers games into the last 7 weeks of the season. November 3 (Garden), then not until February 25 (home), then March 1 (6 days later; Garden), then April 10 (home).
There definitely are more opportunities to see an away game though, so that’s good.

I’m moving to Dallas later this year so of course the away game against them is smack dab at season start so I won’t be moved by the time it’s played…
But I’ll be able to see them play the Avs, Kings, Ducks, and Canucks away with work travel so that’s good at least.

The 7 home games in a row in January is music to my ears as a college student.
Also interesting to note that there’s only 1 true home weekend matinee (Sat March 1 at 12:30pm).

Awesome that the game in Dallas is on a Saturday so I can go! It’s worth the four hour drive for this displaced Islanders fan. I’ve yet to see them beat the Stars but the stadium is really nice and the Stars fans are cool and not dicks towards us. Every time my wife and I have gone the place has a bunch of Islanders fans. No doubt displaced New Yorkers like me.

As an European Islanders fan I’m really happy to see that there will be three home games when I’ll be in NYC before Thanksgiving. See you there!

As an upstater, continued to be disappointed by lack of afternoon games on wknd.
