Joseph is a great complimentary piece who makes about a million too much on his contract. He’s quick, competent offensively, not a defensive liability, and can fit on any line.
It’s legit a bummer to see him leave the Sens.
Wonder if the Blues are stocking up on forwards that are competent defensively to offset the d men that sometimes arnt.

I like this trade. Joseph may just need a change of scenery, and even if we just put him on waivers we get to keep the 3rd round pick. There’s a lot of potential upside without risking much of anything here.
