We’ll see him in action in the preseason games, hopefully he makes the most of it.
Just throw Othmann on RW1 with Zib and Kreider at this point you really can’t get much worse than what we have already tried in the past. We had fucking Dryden Hunt there for like 2 months at one point.. Reilly smith can go to RW3 and will be solid for Chytil

If he sticks Othmann could be a much needed jolt on PP2 as well

I think Othmann is incredibly motivated and that bodes well for him down the line, but I’m not incredibly optimistic that Laviolette is going to deploy him for big minutes. While Lavy is not Gallant or David Quinn, he still has a tendency to lean on veterans.
Maybe he comes in and forces his way onto the team, but if he’s not going to get the proper minutes, it’s not the worst thing if he goes back to Hartford to clean up his game a bit as he’s still a little raw.
Othmann looked nowhere near ready in Hartford last year. Hopefully he’ll improve over summer but I think it could hurt his development if they rush him.
