  1. IT'S PROSPECT POOL RANKING DAY! I know this was a big one for y'all folks, so let me know if you enjoyed, and let me know where you would rank YOUR favorite NHL team!!

  2. How do you not mention shakir mukhamdulin, kasper haltunnen or Daniel guschin for the sharks? They’re easily the best prospect pool in the league.

  3. Excuse me random YouTube man. Why is my favorite team not ranked higher? You know how much merch I’ve bought of theirs? I’ve invested so much time liking them and I need you to validate it for me! 😠

  4. My top five prospect pools:

    1. Montreal Canadiens [Ivan Demidov, Lane Hutson, Jacob Fowler]
    2. San Jose Sharks [Macklin Celebrini, Will Smith, Sam Dickinson]
    3. Minnesota Wild [Jesper Wallstedt, Zeev Buium, Danila Yurov]
    4. Columbus Blue Jackets [Cayden Lindstrom, David Jiricek, Gavin Brindley]
    5. Chicago Blackhawks [Oliver Moore, Artyom Levshunov, Frank Nazar]

Hot take: I think Ivan Demidov is the best prospect in the 2024 draft. Mostly because when folks were talking about the three headed monster in 2020 prior to the time of the 2022 Draft (Lambert, Savoie, & Wright; all three were 16 years old respectively), folks were also talking about the 2023 Draft and the two potential generational talents in that draft (Bedard & Michkov; fifteen year olds respectively). Also being mentioned alongside talk of the 2023 Draft's potential generational talents was 2024's Ivan Demidov who was wowing the world as a 14-year-old and being thought of a generational talent back then too. Macklin Celebrini was not even talked about then. I didn't hear about Macklin Celebrini at all until last year. Just because Demidov was in the MHL rather than the KHL, that does not mean he is any less of a player than Celebrini. Personally, I think Macklin Celebrini projects to be a franchise centreman in the same vein as Jack Eichel which is hands down amazing alone. But Ivan Demidov is a potential generational talent, and it is even a consensus agreement that Demidov is the most electrifying player in the 2024 Draft. Just drafting Demidov gave the Canadiens their best prospect they have seen since they drafted Carey Price in 2005. That's how high on Demidov I am.

  5. With the capitals consider the guys in Hershey, too, with back-to-back Calder cups (especially the goalies). They’re not young but they’re in the pipeline. I think they’re better than 16.

  6. Bruh the fact you put the Pens down at 32 BELOW teams like Edmonton, Boston and Tampa is mind baffling to me. I agree, they dont have a good pool, but its not the worst in the league

  7. San Jose is the best pool in the league

I just don’t see how any other team can compete right now

  8. i really really aprciate the fact you don't have the bet sponsors anymore ! ajax might have helped a lot for that in the last live draft haha ! long live Graviteh

  9. How is chicago #3 when they have no top forward. Sure levshunov is there but you're stretching if oliver moore or frank nazar puts this over teams ranked above them? You do recall that Bedard has graduated, right?

  10. Imma just say dont count out stevie i get maybe at the time he didnt take the high potential guy example kasper dainelson and mbn but remember he took seider 6th overall and ya id say he has some damn high potential and at the time we all thought there was other players with higer potential then seider stevie knows what hes doing he took raymond too and he identified that was the right pick i trust steveie because id say both raymond and seider go 2 or 3 in there drafts in a re draft obviously danielson doesn't go over bedard and msb doesn't go over calabrinie and kasper over slavkovsky but id say in a few years time all these guys or most go higher in a redraft and he took the high potential guy in asp with our 2nd 1st round pick last year and in 2021 with edvinsson id still say that the red wings prospect pool is 4 or 3 the depth is insane Lombardi mazer wallinder buuim and alot more but i get your opinion you know i have been following your channel for years i think i was here before you even hit 1k i respect your opinion i am just giving you mine i know you have a very good hockey knowledge much love keep up the good work

  11. I get the sharks have calabrinie but im sorry the wings pool is better cossa and augestine are better then any of there goalie prospects and edvinsson and asp with wallinder johnanson are better then there dmen they have like as a whole in there pool and that doesn't even include our depth on d buuim of course as well and on the forwards end they win in terms of star power but depth wise Detroit wins it they havent been rebuilding as long and the wings have had way more picks over the last several years and for not having any lottery luck they have killed it but again my opinion and i respect yours i just think that the wings should be higher and also the sharks are lower then a few other teams

  12. You seriously just hate Chicago don’t you I’m gonna quit watching because you always just hate on Chicago

  13. How do you not consider Mailloux and Hutson but consider guys like Wolf and Edvinson 😭😭😭 Habs should be easy top 2/3

  14. Way to go with recognizing TBL but only Buff's recognized Benson (Geekie's teammate from W'peg? prior to team's move to Wenat)??

  15. As a Jackets fan I can see how you have us at number one, but i feel like you made better arguments for other teams yo be at number one. To me I do have the Jackets pretty high with all the prospects but I still feel like the Jackets need that true goal scorer. I might be wrong but I feel like they just seem to not get that. Can some of the prospects step into that rule then I feel like they are set

  16. I am biased but, idk how the wild have the best draft yet drop 4 places. Best goalie, Yurov is insane, beium, and ohgren on top.
I’m so excited for the wilds future in 2 years

  17. Detroit's top 25 prospects:

    1. Axel Sandin Pellikka
    2. Nate Danielson
    3. Carter Mazur
    4. Marco Kasper
    5. Sebastian Cossa
    6. Michael Brandsegg-Nygård
    7. Trey Augustine
    8. Dmitri Buchelnikov
    9. Jakub Rychlovsky
    10. Max Plante
    11. Charlie Forslund
    12. Noah Dower Nilsson
    13. Albert Johansson
    14. Shia Buium
    15. William Wallinder
    16. Jesse Kiiskinen
    17. Anton Johansson
    18. Amadeus Lombardi
    19. Elmer Soderblom
    20. Emmitt Finnie
    21. Ondreij Becher
    22. Antti Tuomisto
    23. Alexandre Doucet
    24. Red Savage
    25. Carter Gylander

This is excluding Simon Edvidsson…Detroit is a guaranteed top 5 prospects pool. Chicago isn't anywhere close to Detroit. It's a slap to Detroit's face. No offense

  18. i though boston never signed reid dyck he dosen't have a contract on cap friendly and after 2 years nhl teams lose their rights to chl players so shouldn't he be a free agent

  19. I wish you wouldn't speed run these rankings like you do @GravitehHockey . Great content, but I think giving a bit more time to this and analysing it to a bit more depth (maybe describing the seasons of your 2 fav prospects from each pool) rather than just naming players in each prospect pools would make it a much more interesting video.

  20. You’re kidding right? The Penguins pool improved a lot, and it’s MUCH, MUCH better than Boston's, Ottawa's, Edmonton's, Vegas', Toronto's just to name a few. I think it’s at least Top-25

  21. Kent Hughes Masterclass Continues. Say what you want about my Habs but I'm confident Hughes has us on our way to being a contender sooner rather than later

  22. How do the penguins go down 3 spots after acquiring more NHL caliber prospects post Jan?

    Swanson
    Howe
    Yager
    Koivunen
    Pickering

There is a zero % chance you're looking at the prospect pools.

  23. Regarding Askarov, Trotz went to Askarov and his agent before Saros signed his deal to let him know he is still part of the plan. All signs are pointing to Askarov taking over from Saros in almost identical fashion to how Saros took over from Rinne. Askarov likely comes up as Saros's backup either next year (25-26) and then Nashville does the 1A/1B dance, which Saros needs considering he plays 60+ games a season.

Askarov likely takes over as more of a starter when he is 26-27 which is the same time Saros took over from Rinne. Saros will be 34-35 and starting to likely slow down. He will be an expensive back-up, but Rinne was a $5M back up in his last 2 years.

  24. St Louis certainly has an under rated prospect pool. Loads of talent in that organization. Additionally, Minnesota and Montreal have outstanding up and coming players. I am extremely happy to see that you have Detroit outside of the top 5. The team has prospects that will undoubtedly make the NHL, but I dont see anyone higher than a 3rd-line forward. Outside of ASP and Edvinsson, the defensive depth is weak. Hit the nail on the head with their Goalie prospects. Good content as always.

  25. I'm a Sharks fan, so I'm sure I'm biased, and I fully appreciate the criticism that the Sharks lack a true goalie prospect, but it's still the best prospect pool in hockey, full stop. The top 3 prospects in the world right now are Mack, Michkov, and Smith. The Sharks have 2 of those, and Dickinson is at least a top-10 D prospect if not top-5. That's already game over for me.

Now, when Mack and Will both join the Sharks, big difference, but right now, i honestly don't think it's all that close.

  27. So Emil Vinni is the one player which got Oilers up 3 spots and knocked Pens to the last spot? Yeah I don't get it, Blomqvist is just as good.
