I was pretty pissed after that loss but gallant always seems to make me feel better somehow
We did not play a good game. Lot of penalties and bad passing leading to turnovers and goals. But again it’s Colorado they good good.
i think gallant is happy with the team's effort but a good game we did not have. we were in it at the end but the underlying analytics and eye test tell us that the avalanche were the far better team.
Good second period. Not enough against Colorado. On to the next game.
Being good is just not good enough
Not sure what game GG was watching,but the Avs were much better.Georgie played great.Nemeth was horrible,screened Georgie on 1 goal and watched puck instead of taking an Avs player in front of net on another goal.Buch,i miss you,come back lol.

Hmmmm. Very interesting. I think he may be trying to send a positive message to the team before tonight’s back to back game. I saw too many giveaways, too many times where low percentage (lateral) passes were made instead of getting the puck deep and doing the work to get behind their D. When the Rangers play well they cycle in the O zone and wear out the opponents D. Like I say Gallant may be using the positive spin for a mental lift. There is no time for practice before tonight’s game. Let’s Go Rangers!
