  1. There's our C. That'll do. Sad to see Fabbri go, he was a great part of our team and did manage to stay at least healthier than he was in St Louis. I have no complaints about the guy at all. Anaheim gets a fine 3C. Welcome Vlad.

  2. Tarasenko chose to go play with his old teammates Perron and Pat Kane. Thank god the Pens were cheated out of signing another mid to late 30s player.

  3. Not going to lie, I was worried when I heard the Penguins had interest in Tarasenko, so him going to Detroit was pretty sweet relief. Look, I don't have beef with the Penguins team, but their fan base, especially the Yinzers who still think it's 2017 and the Penguins are still on top of the hockey world.
As for Tarasenko, I am curious to see what number he will wear for the Red Wings. #10 is out of the question, since that was retired for Alex Delvecchio. #91 will be an interesting case, since not only is that Sergei Fedorov's number, but Tarasenko grew up idolizing Fedorov, so either he will feel honored to wear the number of his idol, or choose a number he has never worn before (Tarasenko wore #19 briefly in Russia besides his usual #10 or #91, but that option is most certainly not available in Detroit).

  4. Detroit is trading for all the goalies so that no other teams have a goalie…obviously 😂

  5. I like what Seattle's doing with their blue line – not extending/trading their third pair and replacing them with Mounter and Ryker Evans is a big move. Mahura seems like a solid #7 too

  6. Please! Philadelphia management… Just for The Hockey Guy, please trade Mr. Brink to the Boston Bruins.

  7. Fabbri was a really dynamic player as a nineteen year old and I thought the Blues hit a home run on hiim. Then he blew his knee out that first time and has never been the same.

  8. This is my second favorite team so I’m excited for them they finally gonna have a good season next year with all the move they just did trouba is literally got me feeling like no moves are happening with the rangers 😒😒

  9. 4 goalies… 5 if Husso is healthy and in the mix. Yzerman is gearing up for a blockbuster. He'll send 2 goalies, a draft pick or two, a couple of undesirable defensive contracts and a solid player for a star right shot defenseman and maybe a cap dump on another defenseman.

  10. As a Ducks fan, I believe Fabbri can bring some toughness in our organizations new culture, even (if now especially) when he's injured. We've had our fair share of injuries last season, so he can teach our young core how to behave when things go the wrong way.

  11. Long-time Rangers fan from from Germany here. At first, I caught myself thinking "Every team is piling up new players – where are the Rangers?" But then again, I remember all those off-seasons in which the Rag$ signed virtually every big UFA name available – and went nowhere. Now, if Shesterkin and Quick, Zibanejad and Trochek, Panarin and Kreider, Fox and Lindgren, Trouba and Schneider aren‘t enough to repeat a deep playoff run, then what is? Plus, this is the season where Kakko might get enough responsibility to prove if he belongs or not. To make it topic-related: Tarasenko was the only player I actually would have liked to see an encore on Broadway from. Glad the Rangers didn’t win the Patrick Kane "sweepstakes" this time.

  12. I literally laughed out loud when you said "someones gotta call yzerman and tell him he has enough goalies" 😂😂
