@Rangers de New York

The caps improved a lot this off-season. At those odds, putting money on them could be pretty lucrative.

  2. Our core aging is probably what’s causing this

  3. Stonewall30NY

It’s the same garbage algorithm that expected Carolina to beat us after we finished with the best record in the NHL and swept the first round

  4. Original_Release_419

I can certainly understand the devils up there with us but Carolina with their losses makes no sense to me

  5. lol how is anyone still dickriding the canes they are habitual losers and they got worse in the off season.

  6. Rell_826

Carolina is the biggest loser of the off-season. If they win the Metro, the Rangers, Devils and Islanders all fell apart. They’re closer to where Washington was last year than they are contenders.

These experts don’t learn. The analytical darlings are frauds(canes)

Team “Set for Life” still have a lot of questions

    Penguins are old

    Flyers… nope tank

Caps are basically going for it bc Ovi wants that record/win a cup which is gonna be hard

Islanders, Duclair helps but still no.

    Jackets….. LOL

  8. gevhtonJudyTBHh

We were 3rd behind the same 2 teams before the start of last season. All I’m saying is this doesn’t matter.

  9. Envelopen

Its not even like its based off regular season wins for a span of years cause the devils who have had 1 good season in the past decade are ahead of us. This really makes no sense and the caps should easily be 3rd or 4th with all their improvements

  10. MarsHotelSouth

Pretty sure they said the same thing last year, let them keep doubting lol

  11. This does not seem too unrealistic. Rangers haven’t gotten better. New Jersey has gotten better. Carolina will always be Carolina during the regular season; personnel won’t be a big deal for them.

  12. JuliusDiamond

Betting my life savings on the BJs LFG!!!

  13. Models and the oddsmakers love the Canes, and they wanted to love the Devils last year so with a legit goalie they can now. The difference between the top 3 is also not a lot. And lastly, it’s betting odds, so who gives a shit.

  14. Comet_Empire

Didn’t the Canes and Devils lineup’s get worse?

  15. ITechTonicI

I mean did the Devils get a Shesterkin caliber goalie?

I don’t bet and don’t really understand this, what type of return would I be looking at if I bet equally on all teams minus the 4 who definitely won’t won thr metrl

  18. Cute-Escape2751

The Rangers not winning this year will haunt them for a long time. This was as far as this core will ever get. Retool mode starts next season.

  19. big_als_nugz

Lmfao the devils over the rangers is actually offensive

  20. Funky_Cows

Well last year the devils beat us in both the standings and playoffs and seem to have fixed their major issues this offseason, a slight favorite over us is reasonable

  21. ytpsexer

So the Canes lose Pesce, Skjei, Guentzel, Noesen, and Teravainen. Not to mention they don’t have a reliable Goaltender going forward. Yet they are the favorite to win the metro. Make it make sense.

  22. TheGuava1

I swear all betting and odds algorithms LOVE the canes every fuckin year. Given all the players they lost and who they replaced them with I think 3rd is probably the most realistic expectation for them. I do unfortunately see the devils having a bounce back year and can realistically see it being a 2 dog race for first between us and them.
