Gonna interpret this as excessive humility instead of a lack of self-confidence.
I want to see a player take this type of sentiment to the extreme. Just show up in front of the media and be like: « Man, this management must be full of fucking idiots if they’re drafting guys like me »

Time to get a taste for protein and maybe hit up a couple hundred of those Swedish meatballs?
He is still a kid, lots of time to fill in that 6’1” frame.
If you’re 145 and can play high level hockey when he eventually gets to 190 he could be a beast. I know late bloomers that packed on a lot of girth between 18-20. I think a lot of kids that have a late growth spurt get overlooked at every level. I think it’s worth a gamble and good way to find value later in a draft.

I love these type of players. They know they hit the jackpot and are willing to do anything to make the roster.
