#MitchMarner #LeonDraisaitl #SidneyCrosby

  1. Wow your opinion on Sydney is very one sided and very personal to you, I get it but hockey players want to win cups Syd is no different, why would he not want to try and win another cup or 2? Unfortunately what you think is irrelevant to what he does, I hope he leaves and wins more cups, look at Perry was there last 4 of 5 years as an aging player chasing cups he was there playing for those cups, Syd would want the same opportunity don’t you think, he already has a great legacy let him build on it elsewhere or you are just too selfish.

  2. pitsburgh could have torn it down 5yrs ago and could in competing for stanley cups against right now had they been smart

  3. Drai probably stays, I don't see Crosby going anywhere, and Marner must be traded. Toronto can't continue with the core 4, unless they're giving up on a run to the cup this season.

  4. 3:31
    Top three:
    Sidney Crosby $152,890,244
    Alex Ovechkin $150,720,893
    Jaromir Jagr $139,887,488

    But counting today's dollar value/inflation:

    Jaromir Jagr $224,907,811
    Sidney Crosby $196,127,425
    Alex Ovechkin $187,688,003

  5. Marner Demanding way more than the others despite by far the worst post season performances. I beg Shanny to let Marner walk so we can get some real players

  6. 2 are playoff players and want to win, one is a super soft winger that only cares about his bank account. Unfortunately 90 points from Marner gets him more than Drasital, Matthews, McDavid etc. No wonder the leafs won 1 round his entire career

  7. wow. were you ever right about crosby. as a fellow martimer, we don't make work for ourselves. we have enough to work on. and yes, mario has convinced sid that being a franchise player makes you a hero to the community. sid will never have to pay for cabs, hotels, restaurants in pittsburgh, plus it's close to here on the east coast of canada.

  8. Would you trade Marner for Crosby? Dubis loves his boy Marner and Crosby can show the team what it takes to win in the playoffs. Who says no?

  9. Crosby shouldn't sign with the Pens. 87 should get traded at the deadline for a ransom. For example, 87 (50% retained) to Edmonton for Philip Broberg, Dylan Holloway, and Sam O'Reilly or a 1st. Maybe 87 for a Ryan Nugent Hopkins package. 87 and 97 win the Cup and bring it back to Canada. 87 restocks the Pens with youth and could return as a UFA. 87 should repeatedly sign 1 year deals with the Pens and get traded for the Cup at the deadline if the Pens aren't in. That would fix the Pens roster and give Sid the best Cup chances.

  10. Hope Marner leaves (im a leaf fan) glad Oilers gonna overpay for Draisaitl, hope dubas screws up the pens rebuild.

  11. Corrado your wrong. If marner is doing well, I think they sign him.
Hopefully they prove him wrong and sign him soon

  12. Draisaitl's agent has said in an interview a few things that are notable:

-Either he signs an extension by end of August or there's no deal
-Leon is at least 30% underpaid for the last few years
-He's very confident the Oilers can get him signed

So to me, it looks like he's a lock for the Oilers as long as they're willing to pony up.

  13. Sidney Crosby is 37 years old. He has maybe three years left. He doesn't owe Pittsburgh anything. The Pittsburgh trophy case is packed. He won three Stanley Cups in the cap era.

Whatever Sid wants to do, no one will ever hold it against him. He could play with Nathan, Connor, or other Connor. He could say, "Who has the best goalie and defensemen? I'm going there." He could go for money. He could give a sweetheart deal to a team. His three years. His choice.

  14. Leafs should let Marner walk. Marner will want more than Nylander but he is not nearly as good as Nylander. Salary structure just doesn't work. Marner scored 26 goals. He is not worth 11 million. He is a 6 million dollar player. Tops. The reason why he even gets the assists that he does is because Mathews is usually on the end of his passes. The playoffs are a whole different animal and Marner is unable to play tough. That's why he is not effective in the playoffs. 11 million can get us 2 excellent players or 3 good players. Time to balance the team a little better. The only way I would consider keeping Marner and Tavares is if they take a 50% pay cut or better otherwise I wouldn't even consider keeping them. Let them walk when the contract is done.
