Look, after yesterday, I'll take anything
Okay, I'm not saying that the Mets still wouldn't have won, but come on. The umpire was horrible that Suwinski at bat. It seems a lot of terrible calls are going against the Pirates lately. Specifically, the 3 challenges St. Louis had a couple of games ago despite losing the first one, and now this Mets game where the umpire hands the Mets 2 poor strike calls and causes Suwinski to swing out of the zone and strike out. Umpires need to be held accountable for poor calls. There was also a questionable at best call in the 7th inning yesterday when interference was called on the Pirates runner because he prevented a double play when it was the Mets fielders' fault for getting in the base path of the runner trying to go to 3rd. I swear some of these umpires ought to be sent down to the minors and rehash some rules at a lower level of baseball before going back to the big leagues. It seems a good number of them are quite simply not good enough.
Someone please train the Mets to deal with a nobody out runner on third situation, at least ONE run should be scored, it's unbelievable three batters can swing without contact in such a situation, come on, don't they practice that?

Pittsburgh accept the fact your season is over. The Mets will content for a playoff spot while the Pirates are going to be in last place where they belong. Pirates don't belong in the major league. That was a perfectly framed pitch for strike 2. Shelton is a terrible manager who deserved to be ejected. Was a good call. Mets take the series

i wish mlb would show one video of home and one video of away announcers, they assume we like to see the big plays called from that teams announcers, which is true, but its also fun to see the opposing teams announcers take on it….why not offer both? they will get more views and more money, it doesnt take that much extra work to do
