L’échange des Sabres, bon ou mauvais ?

Je ne suis pas sûr de ce commerce, alors venez ici pour voir ce que les gens pensent… ? 🤔

I mean, a player who can help us now and a lower level prospect for a prospect who going into this year could have been jumped by the last two first round picks we made making the roster straight out of camp and he’s still in juniours?

I’ll take that as a win.

I love Savoie. But I had such a hard time finding a place for him here.

    OMG NOT THAT!

We got absolutely fleeced. Top 10 pick for a third liner

One thing trading for defensive forwards does is open up our skilled d-men on offense a bit more. I never want to hear Dahlin say he can’t take risks, and this helps.

This is gonna backfire on us bad

KA is building a roster specifically for lindy ruff. That is obvious after today.

McLeod was a healthy scratch for Edmonton. How did a top prospect just get traded for him?

I’m thoroughly upset only because I REALLY liked Savoie and was so hyped when we drafted him

Good trade for Buffalo, moving one of their many (many) prospects for a player that addresses a need that improves our team. There’s no room for all of our prospects in the system, and this makes us better now.

Time for the sabres to miss the playoffs for the millionth time in a row

The fact that oiler fans are celebrating calling their GM a genius “Jeff the chef” while we all bicker over if this trade was good tells me everything I need to know about this deal. You don’t trade 3rd line centers being propped up by the guys around them for a 9th overall pick that’s borderline ready to make the transition to the show. Absolute idiotic management of our prospects and talent with this team. Every year we have the same arguments, every year we’re met with the same result. Kevin Adams should’ve absolutely been on the chopping block last season and he better be this year if this doesn’t magically turn around with this turd of a roster he built. Now into his second soft rebuild trying to save his job but nobody wants to talk about it.
