  1. Were in rebuild mode kent hugue said so himself we wont be a playoff contender for atleast 2-3 years no point in getting a first goalie now

  2. Not worth it at all. It would cost a lottery first round pick at the very least. And Montembault was the 10th best goaltender in the goal saved category. I would hate an offer sheet to a goaltender. They're not that difficult to draft.

  3. I've been saying this for over a year now that they need to get SWAYMAN……FINALLY…..I hope Montreal gets him. please please please.

  4. Habs won’t land any top UFA this year and even less next year. The pool will be slim to none for a top six forward in 2025. Konecky & Boeser and maybe Elhers if he doesn’t sign this year the rest will be too expensive or too old to make a difference. Habs never made an impact in FA and this will continue for seasons to come no doubt about it.

  5. if this happens I will take a huge bite of my chocolat gun . taking swayman at 8.8 m to surpass the 8.6 boston have remaining (because swayman is surely asking for all the remaining money boston have imo )for a possible ivan Ryabkin? and more…. no way . and second of all. you don't need a superstar goalie . look at chicago who won with niemi and there is so many more like that. you just need a goalie that can do the job a.k.a samuel montembault, primeau (hopefully got better) and Jacob Fowler. Goalies like vasilevsky, bobrovsky, price, shershtorkin and swayman asking for 8m + its mad. they deserve it but you better trade them before they ask that much.

  6. I always thought of swayman as a mini Price. Lowkey reminds me of him. I dont mind if we get him. Were competing thid year anyway.

  7. Highly unlikely any team will offer sheet Swayman. GM's don't like doing offer sheets and in the rare instances where you do see an offer sheet it gets matched most of the time.

  8. If mtl can pull this off, that would be epic.
Being a leaf fan I would love to see Bruins lose both their goalies 😅
Would that force them to rebuild?

  9. as a bruins hater (because my team has always been in the same division), I would so love this.. even moreso if they made it where Boston couldn't match or have to unload guys to do so. I hope it happens.

  10. I'd never go that route… I'd rather package those picks plus a possible prospect and see IF Askarov is available… keeps the cap space and you get an elite goaltender that would grow with the young team

  11. You people are so f'ing silly… Everyone is going to MTL…

Sway said last year that he never wanted to go through arbitration again. He has no intentions of leaving Boston. He's still in the city working out with his team mates. He's already reached out to Korpisalo and brainstormed a new victory celebration. He's not signing an offer sheet, especially not from the god damn Habs…

  12. Finally, gonna block you for 30 days you’ve really water done your content you’re all about putting up a new video every day and there’s no real substance your videos anymore

  13. Would be fun to see the turmoil this would cause to the Bruins, but the odds of Hughes doing an offer sheet (to anyone) this year is extremely unlikely. They are building slow and steady, and for an offer sheet to actually succeed, it needs to be an overpayment. And of course the player has to actually agree and sign it. Monty & Primeau is fine for this year to see if they can repeat their decent performance last year, then re-evaluate after the season if the team is ready to take the next step (and also consider how Fowler and other G prospects are coming along…).

  14. I can't see Hughes parting with all those prime draft picks, especially with Fowler coming up in a couple years. Monty and Primeau earned the chance to be the tandem after suffering through that 3-way for most of last year.
(three goalie tandem ya dirty bastids)

  15. If they offer sheeted swayman you know Sweeney would offer sheet them every time a good player is due 😂😂

  16. if i was boston and they tried to offer sheet him for the 8+m or w/e i would let him walk and take the draft picks. Its possible swayman is a product of the burins system. Im a sabres fan and you can look at Ullmark and even Lehner as an example. Both were okay on the Sabres but then get to the bruins and the golden knights and become instant Vezina winners. There wasnt a gradual building and becoming the best. It was being traded and the next year / 2 years of winning a Vezina. If those goalies were so elite on their own they should have been able to steal some games for the Sabres but they didnt. They would steal maybe 1-2 out of the 50-60 games they played. When you play in front of a solid defensive team you become a great goalie. Bobrowski was the same way in FL. There was a reason his 10m contract looked awful until the last 2 years. He was a great goalie and went to a team that wasnt very good and became pedestrian until the Panthers started to play team defensive in front of him.
