J’adore le début de cette chanson, et je pense qu’elle ferait un hymne fort après un but des Maple Leafs.
Les vingt premières secondes en particulier sont électriques, avec ces coups de batterie crépitants.
Ensuite, l’organiste peut le faire disparaître en douceur sur le riff de guitare qui commence à 0:20, ou s’il veut un extrait plus long, le laisser jouer jusqu’à 0:37 et le faire disparaître à ce moment-là.
De plus, Rush est un groupe de Toronto, ce qui compte pour quelque chose.

I don’t care that he’s from Montreal, the Leafs need to get the rights from WWE to use Sami Zayn’s theme song.
Rush is one of my all time favourite bands, but I don’t know if they make for good goal songs. I wouldn’t hate it though.

Great song, not a great goal song
Considering the heat of the bright lights in Toronto, and the pressure on the core this year in particular, it might do them well to hear Rush’s Limelight instead.

So we complained all last year about the stale goal song. It was changed. Now we are asking for a new goal song. Okay.
50 Mission Cap or bust, IMO. Canadian as fuck band. Ontario as fuck band. Catchy ass riff. It’s literally about the Leafs.
If we are looking to keep it Canadian, Id love to see Sloan re-work their Money City Maniacs song just a bit for it to fit in nicely to a goal song.

There should be different goal songs. Not every goal gets a different song but maybe a few different ones. Such as one for pp goals or ot goals… Maybe the players get to pick their own goal song? Or some iteration of those.
Just something different from the same old tune every single goal. I got fed up with the Hall and Oates song the last couple of years. It was horrible.
