   I know he’s not the best defensively but being almost a point per game player AFTER hip resurfacing surgery is crazy. I can’t wait to watch more outstanding goals or assists from Kaner next year. Thanks for agreeing to a 1 year deal Pat.

   I’m going to savor every minute of him being here, even if it’s his last year. It’s so refreshing to listen to a guy who is all about hockey and thinks the game as good as he does. The other day I speculated whether Mo or Ras deserved the A with Perron leaving, but I think I’d give it to Kane this season. The fact that Steve called him to ask about Tarasenko as a player tells you the respect he has for his hockey acumen.
