  1. Closed captions for the questions would go a long way, but excited for this next season

  2. Did my best to transcribe the questions. Blanks are things I couldn't make out at all and (parentheses?) are things I'm not certain I heard correctly. [Brackets] are my notes. I love the stuff the socials team puts out but yeah CCs would be nice so a fan doesn't feel the need to spend an hour doing it himself, lmao

01 Things can happen between now and September, but as of now going into training camp, how do you feel about the makeup of this group?

30 How much did you have an idea going into the day that you would be able to make all these signings?

50 You have been somebody that hasn't given more than two years to anyone before, what was it about Teravainen and Bertuzzi that go beyond two years? [Referring to length of contract]

35 Do they complement Bedard well if it ends up being that way? Teravainen played with Aho a lot, Bertuzzi has the gritty game that Bedard doesn't have, so..

25 Are these guys that are the kind of identity pieces that Foligno and Jones were talking about, and did you go into free agency looking for those type of players?

20 [same reporter] They were also talking about grit (and responsibility?) like bringing more accountability to the club

50 You know with all the changes, where do you want to be next year? I know its hard to say in terms of x number of points [in the standings] but youve got some veterans coming in, you said you had to be better and you're gonna be better…

40 you've created more [roster] competition which was the goal, how do you balance this with when guys are ready in terms of Korchinski, Kaiser, Del Mastro, any of those guys. Theres a lot of veterans that are out there, how do you evaluate who is ready and make sure that getting some of the veterans in doesn't block any of their paths?

50 what do you see for Korchinski next year?

50 With everything you've done this week, the draft and the free agency. Would you say this is a turning point for the organization, going up?

40 __ and Tyler [Bertuzzi] both mentioned Foligno heavily recruiting them… What does it mean as a front office to have a veteran like that reaching out to guys and speaking on your behalf and getting guys to sign?

35 The way you've timed this out looking at the salary cap and when entry level deals happen, you know its a kaleidoscope in the way things move around. You've got a little ___ this year, are you happy with how all these moving pieces are coming together long term for management of the salary cap?

45 With Bertuzzi, just finally having another Sudbury guy on the active roster? [Kyle's hometown, Sudbury Ontario]

03 What's the conversation like with Levshunov in terms of (representation?) about where he's gonna play next year?

10 With Reichel, does the same thing apply to him as Korchinski in not guaranteeing a spot or anything like last year?

55 I know you've been happy with Luke the first two years, but to have a more predictable NHL group does it help you assess him as a coach and make sure he's a long term fit too and just what he can do with a more capable roster?

03 [I cannot tell which player's health the reporter is asking about, best guess is Connor Murphy]

30 Taking this step forward you probably won't have another top 5 pick, ideally, but are you comfortable with how the forward prospect group stands knowing that you're moving forward and might not have a chance to add a super elite player to that?

40 With the development of players, whats been the challenge of finding the right balance…. how do you find what's best for the guy and what you think should be good for the guy?

25 Whenever someone starts a job or career, you have a vision. This is your 3rd offseason that you're finishing up. Obviously you started with a vision and you've continued that vision on, what has gone according to what you were hoping would happen, and what's been maybe a more pleasant surprise outside of winning the lottery last year for Connor?

45 With the signings that you've made, does it kinda just let everybody do their job now without that concern of "now we gotta call this guy up, now we've had another injury and we've gotta go pick somebody up…" does it kinda put everybody in a better headspace from you all the way down?

18 A lot of guys coming in which also means there are a lot of guys going out, some have been here a long time like Reese Johnson, did you have conversations with them and was it difficult to part ways?

40 When you look at guys that you've brought in like Bertuzzi, players you've drafted like Boisvert, is there a recognition that you have some skill guys but you need guys that are tough in corners, tough in net front and other areas of the ice, or did that kinda just happen?

10 Do you still stay in touch with Mike Foligno now that he has retired? ….. Did the [Sudbury] Wolves give you your first hockey job?

25 (Do you ever see this as being a little early?), any thoughts as to the Captain situation?

48 Do you see some of the veterans that you've brought in playing a role that you can then project a younger player into? Possibly like Frank Nazar and Teravainen having a similar size and skill set, or Colton Dach looking at how Tyler Bertuzzi plays. Is there any thinking in showing prospects what it might look like at the next level as well?

13 You talk about wanting to make the next step in the rebuild, you've made forward and defenseman signings but how important was it to get a 1B goaltender to make sure you have 2
goalies who are giving you a chance to win every night?

20 When you were talking to top 6 forward agents, how much did the opportunity to play with Connor come up? Is that a real thing when you're talking to different agents?

23 Did anybody mention to you that by bringing back Teravainen you've joined that storied Blackhawk tradition of bringing back former players?

23 Is that a trippy kinda full circle moment?

15 Did you pick him up this time?

33 Think you'll wear a Kyle From Chicago shirt when you see him?
