@Canucks de Vancouver

Points principaux de Jake DeBrusk (23-24)

Profils d’ailier fort et de meneur de jeu sous-estimé. Je pense qu’il travaillerait bien avec Petey

    I’m DeSold. That pass he made on the first goal of his season , I don’t think there’s a single winger we had last season that could make that pass , let alone see it. This is Pete’s winger. We’re winning the cup , plan the parade, let Alvin cook and a happy god damn news years folks. Yamaka

    Hope he’s more of a shooter with us… Petey can dish it.

    This contract will age better then Guenztel

    Love how most of his goals are scored right in front of the net within a few feet from the crease. We needed more of that in the playoffs.

    Didn’t realize how strong his playmaking is. Thx for this^

  6. All y’all who wanted to see more Canadian players on the team, how do you feel about Debrusk, Heinen, and Desharnais?

    Debrusk is the highest profile Canadian player on the Canucks since Bo Horvat.

    He is literally perfect for Pettersson. He can score, pass and he plays with alot of speed and physicality, all this and still responsible defensivly.
    This will create space for Pettersson and if you put Höglander on the other wing, you have three people that can score, two passers and two with alot of speed and grit. That is alot to try to lock down and now Pettersson can move up more in the attack with the extra help home and also we have someone that can get to puck to him for basically the first time.
    So hyped for this line and iam sure it will be the best line on the team and with the second line being our weak point last season that is really exciting!

    what i’m concerned about is that he only put up 40points despite being put with pretty good players consistently (mainly Marchand, and some Pasta) and actually had fewer even strength points than Heinen despite getting most of his minutes with Marchand on 5on5. For comparisons sake, his 28 EV points would have been below even Mikheyev and only a couple more than Suter and Lafferty.

    But obviously would love that he just blow away these stats and have a career year with us.

    He played with pasta and Marchand consistently, and had 1st pp minutes. He’s a good add to play with Pete, Peterson has needed a guy who can either accept passes or receive passes. Or you know… finish (side eyes some Russian player).

    Looks like JT Miller Lite to me, looking forward to seeing him in Canuck colours!

    He looks like a decent passer. I’m hoping DeB can help EP get 40 goals finally.

    I am really excited and optimistic about DeBrusk coming into Vancouver. From what I understand Boston struggled to give him consistency for coaching and in his lines. Coming to Vancouver he will play top minutes and get the chance to shine. I think honestly he can hit and maintain a 50+ point season here.
