   I remember getting pretty high off of these videos last summer when he picked them as pre season cup favourites. I truly am satisfied with this off season again though. Just have to wish for good luck with injuries

   But damn I love how this team got built up this offseason, the passion and experience the vets will bring will be huge. Tatar, Pesce, and Markstrom especially. Dudes who want to win and wanted to be here.

   I think so.

   I mean I don’t think we will make it to the postseason for a long while.

   And since we can’t be in the postseason, I’m okay with NJ going all the way.

   It’s really, really hard for me to pick out any complaints about the offseason moves so far.

   1. I complained about the tactics the last coaching regime used: they hired Keefe who is better poised to manage a younger, offense-first team for 2024 hockey.
   2. I complained that the team was softer than shit some nights and crumbled anytime life got hard: they kept the core intact while supplementing it with real defense-minded pairings as well as size and strength in the bottom six. It should be more than enough to keep the other team honest.
   3. I didn’t at first, but eventually complained (along with most of us) that the goaltenders simply were not up to the task. The jury is still out, but as of now I trust Markstrom a helluva lot more than either Vitek or Akira. Jake Allen is gonna be a greta backup.

   And yeah, we had to give up some assets because this is the real word and not a PS5. Acquiring assets require giving out assets in return. It’s painful, and its supposed to be.

   I’m really excited to see what the next season brings!
