It blows me away that in this day and age of podcasts and webcasts, people will still fail to put their phones on silent or get proper microphones. Some people are determined to keep sounding like they are still guests on AM radio, it’s always the same demographic too.

$5mil times 6yrs for Big Z was the poison pill the Canucks dodged. Lindholm never had chemistry with Pety, so signing him for $7.5mil times 7 made no sense. He would be stuck on the 3rd line playing with Dak and Gar. Signing Guentzel for $9.5 mil times 7 would have meant Brock walks next year plus we would have to sign a bunch of fringy role players for $1mil 1yr deals and hope they pan out but most probably won't…
