Florida would be represented in 6 straight SCF’s. Huberdeau would be in shambles. The hockey world would have an aneurysm.
The lust for a Cup isn’t there for me anymore, which makes sense.
It’s been replaced with a lust for respect from the hockey world. I want more Cups with this core so they can be named among the all-time greats.
Zito worked his magic and we have everyone together. Now just bit pieces here and there to fill in the gaps and we could be a dynasty.
A team has won the cup twice or more in every decade. Why not us? -70’s flyers, candians-80’s oilers, islanders-90’s penguins, red wings-2000 devils, red wings -2010 kings, blackhawks, penguins -2020, lightning.

Nah this coming year is one we’ve seen before.
We will have brothers on the team, won’t have the best regular season, sneak into the playoffs, have a surprisingly deep run all things considered, but not get over the finish line.
The year after is the one where we win the cup.

It might be a rematch and Edmonton has stacked the cupboards on top of what they had. As much as I’d want and hope Florida would smoke them and its possible but they got better and we lost some good players . Let’s hope Zito makes move for some third line replacements and Montour and OEL on the Blueline. We definitely have the advantage in goal instead just shoot on skinner over and over and it will drop
