Chad a beaucoup d’idées sur la façon dont le premier week-end de mouvement de joueurs et le repêchage se sont déroulés, y compris Buffalo qui a reculé de trois positions par rapport à la 11e place et qui s’est ainsi privé d’une occasion de sélectionner l’un des deux défenseurs très convoités tous deux sur le tableau pour le choix original des Sabres, Sam Dickinson et Zeve Buium, un joueur que le Minnesota a remonté pour obtenir au 12e choix. Adams a-t-il laissé tomber la balle en reculant prématurément ? Le choix supplémentaire a conduit Adams à échanger avec Washington et à acquérir le joueur autonome avec restriction Brent Malenstyn, un joueur physique qui est excellent dans certains domaines du jeu, mais qui n’offrira pas grand-chose en attaque (seulement six buts lors de sa première campagne complète dans la LNH la saison dernière). Bien sûr, Buffalo a fait un choix au 14e rang et Chad partage ses réflexions sur Konsta Helenius. Au moins jusqu’à présent, la plus grande décision des Sabres a été d’officialiser le rachat de Jeff Skinner. Les Sabres économisent maintenant 7,5 millions de dollars sur le plafond salarial pour cette saison, mais paieront Skinner pour les six prochaines années au lieu de trois. I think Adams was "damned if he does damned if he dont" as far as trading. Not many trading at all. You need a partner.
I heard some that said we overpaid on the trade. That was the price!!
Adams cant win! He could bring a top 6 player in and they'd yell he got fleeced.

Face the facts folks … It's not fun to hear, but it very well known that many many players just do not want to come to Buffalo. That's leaves one to overypay and develop from within…

First time listener, this was a quality discussion. Hard to find objective hockey coverage in general, let alone for the Sabres.
I think the biggest takeaway for fans is that the roster isn’t complete until the trade deadline. Sure you need +90% of players set for opening night, but even after FA opens the team isn’t final. Plenty of time to move prospects and get quality roster players in August.
Pretty sure this entire organization has created a dumpster fire and no one wants to come to Buffalo. Every single free agent that's avail this year that could help out has already been signed and there is no way Stamkos is going to Buffalo. They made their bed with horrible coaching since Ruff left and now they have to sleep in it.

If they Decide to Keep Krebs thru the summer its his to lose. Sam Lafferty won over 50% of his faceoffs and is a decent 2 way player. Greenway and Krebs are the 2 trade players this summer along with Prospects and Picks.

U can take all the top prospects & all the top vets , put them on one team and still @ the beginning of the season,sure you'll have A roster filled,but until your unit ,your "Roster" commits to what the main focus is ….to being well oiled machine,one with each other As the players on the '80 Olympic team & in their pre olympic play told their coach "We're a Family" until they become FOCUSED on whats good for the family,create chemistry&take fault for their mistakes & actions you just cannot know what you have until they all share the same goal!! Pun Intended 😛….Till that lil red light goes on & on & on …..& We hear that cannon or air horn go off & UPK stands tall ,our Buffalo Sabres must Be accountable & respect their linemates talents & capabilities!!! We wont know this untill the team shows us fans 🤔
