Yeah, but the disparity between our youngest and oldest players has been reduced significantly. We no longer have 36 year old players Kyle Okposo and Erik Johnson, and our oldest player now is Zucker at 32. Benson will likely continue to be the youngest player on the team (unless by some miracle Helenius makes the opening night roster).

I’m happy we have Zucker but I really wanted to be a U30 NHL team

That include 35 year old 3rd string Reimer?

They’re the team of the future (and always will be)
v-irtual
Does that mean they could be the youngest team to win the cup?
Buckle up boys, I’m here for 82-0

I did an age-related analysis earlier this year. I think it was something like, 9 out of the 10 oldest teams (by player age) had a winning record. We’re always on the younger side, so it makes sense.

We’ll catch up eventually.

They’re just gonna use this as an excuse when we miss the playoffs again 😂
